PEPB personnel shall contact the Customer and, if necessary, schedule a site visit to determine the area where additional lighting is requested. If Customer and PEPB are in agreement, PEPB will install the security light(s) and pole(s) in the quantity indicated in the table.
All security lights and associated wiring must be readily accessible by PEPB personnel and equipment to maintain and service the light fixture(s) and pole(s), and only property owners may request poles to be placed on their property. The Customer is responsible for notifying PEPB of any malfunctioning security lights in order for repairs to be scheduled.
PEPB will install, own, maintain, and furnish the electricity to the entire security lighting system, to include light fixtures, photoelectric controls, poles, and wiring. Customer shall provide the location and access to all security light fixture(s) and pole(s) and pay for the lighting services at the rate specified below for each month that the Security Light Agreement is in effect. This agreement shall become effective on the date that the PEPB Representative signs off on the installation, and shall remain in effect for an initial term of two (2) years. Upon completion of the initial term, this agreement shall automatically renew from month to month unless terminated by either party.
PEPB reserves the right to adjust the monthly charge as provided by the Outdoor Lighting Rate – Schedule LS, as amended.
